Description
The Folding Chair was presented at the legendary 1949 Cabinetmakers’ Guild’s Autumn Exhibition that marked the breakthrough for Wegner. The basic lines pays homage to the Barcelona Chair by the renowned Bauhaus architect Mies van der Rohe while Wegner gave it a folding mechanism that would add stability to the construction and made it out of pure natural materials.
