A chair born from a direct dialogue with the craftsmen at the Ariake production house in Saga, Japan. Distinctive details discovered throughout the factory served as inspiration for the design, which underwent a meticulous process of refining its proportions and details.
A 1:1 scale drawing formed the basis for the prototype. The result is a chair with a balanced presence, combining classical influences with a contemporary language, a meeting point between the tradition of Japanese craftsmanship and modern design thinking.
