Description
Designed in 1970. The sculptural GE525 is Hans J. Wegner's answer to GETAMA's desire for a strong but light wooden chair with armrests and padded seat for the home or restaurant. The chair is hand built at Getama's factory in Gedsted, Denmark by skilled cabinet makers using traditional Scandinavian techniques. The chair is sometimes referred to as the "U Chair" due to the shape of the bent back.
