Description
Rennes and Chainette are two sculptural, graphic curtains designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. They share the same base pattern, which was originally designed for a room divider at an exhibition of their work in Rennes, France. While the curtains share the same pattern, they are distinctively different. Chainette is embroidered with braids which follow the outline of the stripes of Rennes. The tactile braids give Chaînette a discreet three-dimensional and playful character - and its name. Chainette means 'little chain' in French.
