The CH78 lounge chair, commonly known as the Mama Bear Chair, was originally introduced in 1954 as an extension of his CH71 chair design (1952).
Description
Even though in the times easy chairs sometimes had a heavy appearance, Wagner succeeded in conveying the sculptural characteristics in the design of Mama Bear through a series of inviting curves that grant a warm embrace. The frame, armrests and legs are made of solid wood for stability. The headrest comes in leather or fabric options and gives a complementary look to the design.
